  • ¾ cup unsalted butter (divided)
  • 2 cups diced onion
  • 2 cups diced celery
  • 3 tbsp chopped fresh sage
  • 2–3 tbsp Philosopher’s Potion
  • 2–2 ½ cups chicken broth
  • 2 large eggs

🔥 Directions

1.     Prep

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Lightly butter or spray a baking dish.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together 2 eggs and 1 cup chicken broth; set aside.

2.     Cook the Vegetables

  • In a large pot over medium heat, melt ¾ cup butter.
  • Add onion and celery.
  • Cook until softened, about 10 minutes.

  • Add bread cubes to the pot and gently fold until coated.
  • Pour in the egg–broth mixture.
  • Add ½–1 tbsp more Philosopher’s Potion, adjusting to taste.
  • For a moister stuffing, add up to ½ cup more chicken broth.

5.     Transfer & Butter

  • Spoon the stuffing mixture into the prepared baking dish.
  • Melt 4 tbsp additional butter and drizzle evenly over top.

6.     Bake

  • Bake 25–30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and slightly crisp.
  • Let rest a couple minutes before serving.
