Prep Time: 50 minutes

Cook Time: 1 hour

Rest Time: 10 minutes

Total Time: 2 hours

Servings: 4

Ingredients:

For the wings:

  • 3–4 lbs chicken wings, flats + drumettes

  • 2–3 tbsp Lazy Lightning seasoning by AlcheMeats

  • 2 tbsp avocado oil or olive oil

  • 2 tbsp baking powder (optional)

For the spicy blueberry glaze:

  • 1 ½ cups fresh or frozen blueberries

  • ¼ cup honey

  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

  • 2 tsp Worcestershire

  • 1 clove garlic, minced

  • ½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional for extra heat)

  • Pinch of salt

Instructions:

1. Prep the wings

  • Pat wings dry with paper towels (crispy wings start here).

  • Toss in oil, then season generously with Lazy Lightning.

  • Arrange wings on wire racks in a single layer and let rest 20–30 minutes.

2. Fire up the Traeger

  • Place wire racks directly on COLD grill grates.

  • Close the lid and set smoker to 400 degrees.

  • Cook 60 minutes and remove from smoker.

3. Make the spicy blueberry glaze

  • In a saucepan, combine blueberries, honey, vinegar, Worcestershire, garlic, salt and red pepper flakes.

  • Simmer over medium heat for 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until blueberries burst and sauce thickens slightly.

  • Blend with an immersion blender (or mash with a fork for chunkier texture). Taste and adjust with more Worcestershire, honey, or salt.

4. Finish the wings

  • Toss wings lightly in the glaze or brush it on for a glossy finish.

  • Serve extra glaze on the side for dipping.
